Blue, without the feeling

So it's been a lot of fun trying to make this system of 'painting' take form. In fact, because it doesn't resemble anything I would ordinarily associate as having been produced by a machine or an application, the process feels much more cerebral than procedural. So why blue? Typical I've seen blue as a weak and spineless colour. It lacks energy and that ability to be taken seriously by the other colours. Generally it is too soothing and calming. Little know fact; fledgeling designers and artists can be quickly spotted using this color because they themselves lack the fortitude to make a statement that lives beyond a whimpering 'hi' . Basically it has no balls. That is unless there is purpose to it. Maybe given stark constrast to a more exhuberant vibrations on the visible spectrum, such as yellow, orange, or possibly red. Well, maybe even I'm just kidding even myself with this one, but I guess I just want something to make the other colours in this compositions stand otu. And given the frequency that Tobey wears this colour more recently I was giving it a bit of an homage as well. Blue 1 Blue 2
